I love helping people cut through nutrition myths, build confidence in their own choices, and create habits that last well beyond our sessions.— Lucy
Lucy Burrows
Sports Dietitian - SDA (provisional)
Kia ora! I’m Lucy, a Sports Dietitian based in the sunny Hawkes Bay! I work with local and national active people in person and online.
I bring over 10 years of clinical nutrition experience alongside my own background in elite sport, having competed in gymnastics, hockey, and now nationally and internationally in Crossfit, and triathlon. This year I’ve competed at various events including Torian Pro in the adaptive pairs category and Oceania Champs.
With my partner, I am a mum of 2 children and 2 fur babies.
From an early age, I saw firsthand how nutrition shapes not just performance but overall health and well-being. Now, I feel privileged to share this knowledge with clients - supporting you to achieve your goals and build lasting habits that extend far beyond any single event or appointment.
So what do I know, anyway?

Personal experience:
I love helping people cut through nutrition myths, build confidence in their own choices, and create habits that last well beyond our sessions. I’ve worked with athletes across gymnastics, swimming, triathlon, cricket, and rugby, and I have a special interest in supporting active females through pregnancy and postpartum.
As a mum of two, I understand the juggle of family, work, and training. Outside of work you’ll find me at the beach, exploring nature, walking my dogs, training at CrossFit, or enjoying time with whānau and friends in the Bay.
